A documentary film about the Internal Revenue Service scandal will have
a one-time showing in local theaters on Oct. 14.
More than 600 theaters nationwide scheduled to show “UnFair: Exposing the IRS.” It was written and produced by radio show host Craig Bergman. The feature-length film investigates the alleged
cover-ups and abuses of power at the IRS. In the film Bergman and his fellow filmmakers travel across the U.S. to interview politicians, community organizers and the alleged victims of
the scandal.
My Commentary
Clearly there is reason to believe that the IRS unfairly target conservatives. If this documentary can lay out the evidence in an objective way that can stand up to criticism and if enough people will
ultimately view it, ultimately it can be effective. By effective, I mean people will insist that the IRS is held accountable, and politicians will be held accountable if they are seen as covering up for the
IRS.
